Troop 803 will be doing an 8-day canoeing trip this summer on the boundary waters in Minnesota at BSA's Norther Tier high adventure camp from June 12-20. Eligible scouts must be 14 years old or at least 13 years old and completed the 8th Grade on our day of arrival at Northern Tier.

Troop 803 is going back to Philmont Scout Ranch from July 12-24 for a 12-day wilderness backpacking trek in the Rocky Mountains.  Eligible scouts must be at least 13 years old and done with 8th Grade.

Changes have been made to the process of requesting and participating in Project Proposal and Rank Advancement review boards. Attached are two documents. The Signature Options doc is unchanged from the original but the Virtual Eagle Review Board Instructions have been updated.

What is the advancement process for rank advancement?

In order to advance to the next rank in Scouts you need to complete all the requirements in the scout book and have a scoutmaster conference and a board of review. When you have completed all of these your advancement will be presented to you at the next court of honor.
